The Precision Reflex AR-15 Flip Up Barrel Mount Front Sight deploys instantly to keep you operational if the primary sight system on your flattop AR-15 fails or loses effectiveness in low-light conditions. A pushbutton-controlled, positive locking, ball-detent mechanism snaps the sight firmly into position when you need it and locks it down when you don’t. When folded, PRI’s AR-15 flip-up barrel mount front sight gives you an unobstructed view through your optic and won’t snag on brush, clothing, or gear. A large, spring-loaded button is easy to operate, even under stress. Hood protects sight post from damage during rough handling, and actually improves sight picture to help you acquire a target more quickly. Standard Flip Up Barrel Mount Front Sight has an integral gas block and clamps on a .750″ diameter barrel. Hex head crossbolts pull the clamp halves tight to barrel to completely immobilize the sight for a non-slip installation. Sight body has A2 sight post installed; also accepts aftermarket posts. Assembly folds to the rear when retracted. G2 Flip Up Barrel Mount Front Sight provides all the features described above, with the addition of a thumb wheel that enables easy, precise adjustment of front sight post elevation. Note: the G2 has a non-standard sight post and will NOT accept standard A2 posts. The gas block/barrel clamp on both models is machined 4140 carbon steel (black oxide finish). Sight bodies are machined aluminum with a durable matte black, hardcoat anodized finish that resists surface wear and corrosion.
