High shock effect and large penetration force while the weight virtually remains the same – these characteristics are the result of the CDP-projectile and its controlled deformation process. Despite the relatively low weight of the bullet, it produces the desired exit wound and spares the game to the highest extent possible. Upon impact, the CDP bullet deforms in a controlled manner, mushrooming symmetrically in four directions, irrespective of velocity and target resistance. During mushrooming, the diameter of the bullet multiplies by 2.5 of its original caliber. This effect has been obtained through precise calculation of the individual components of the bullet and their behavior during the shot.
