GG&G Sling Thing Sling Attachment Swivels are built on the widely accepted principle tactical slings should be mounted on the side of the weapon. GG&G Sling Things provide this mounting position to fill this requirement for AR15 style rifles. GG&G Front Sling Thing is a lightweight, durable, easy-to-install and inexpensive mount that lets you attach any rifle sling to your AR or M16.

The standard GG&G Front Sling Thing easily installs onto the AR15/M16’s “A-frame” front sight assembly, on either the right or left sides using socket head cap screws. Mounted high in this manner “rifle roll” is completely prevented. Both the front and rear GG & G Sling Thing Swivel Sling Attachments use a coated 1 1/4 inch sling swivel that are bead blasted and manganese phosphated in a non-reflective matte black mil-spec finish. Manufactured from tough 6061 T6 billet aluminium alloy, the body of the GGG Sling Things are Type III hard-coat anodized in a matte black combat finish. The Sling Thing Front is compatible with the Surefire Millennium 500 flashlight forearm.
