MORGAN RIFLE COMPLETE STRAIGHT PAD #5. The Economy Morgan Recoil Pad uses light weight , black ABS plastic mounting plates. The #5 has the standard Straight (flat) Shoulder Pad that provides a comfortable surface for the shooter’s shoulder. The Butt Plate measures 1 7/8 inches wide by 5 1/4 inches long, and is meant to be trimmed to match the stock by the installer. The mounting holes in the Butt Plate are spaced 3 3/16 inches apart. The recoil pad adjusts up and down (5/8 inch rise, 3/4 inch drop). By adjusting the amount of squeeze on the recoil absorbing sponge rubber, the feel of the pad can be changed (harder/softer). All Morgan recoil pads will add about 1 1/4 inches to the length of the stock, and include instructions on mounting and adjustments. Morgan recoil pads do not rotate or move sideways.

Separate, ABS plastic plate with movable, foam core pad makes your buttstock quickly and easily adjustable for stock pitch, drop and degree of recoil absorption so your gun fits and feels the way it should. Available with a straight, checkered-face, hunting-style pad. Installation requires only minor modifications. May require plugging and redrilling of pad/buttplate screw holes.
