Ruger 10/22 Barracuda Stock. The BARRACUDA® Stock – an innovative, skeletonized thumbhole stock – was designed by a talented designer, Mike Turner.

This stock was designed primarily as a Race Stock for Ruger 10-22 competitions. That is, for speed to the target and durability of the “hold”: solid stable placement of eye, shoulder and hand during target acquisition and shooting. The stock’s use has expanded somewhat to target shooting, but really, and it’s a little surprising, our BARRACUDA® has found a firm place in small game hunting and off hand shooting.

We have made tens of thousands of BARRACUDA® for Ruger and TALO special projects and we have incorporated what we learned into our design and production to achieve – our goal – stable precision accuracy. There is a careful precision machined solution to barrel droop. This can happen because of the 10-22 barrel attachment system. Our BARRACUDA® resolves that issue. We also have unusual balance protocols as well as attention to robustness (so it doesn’t crack). Our experience and design engineering background make our BARRACUDA® stock accurate, stable and superior to those that only look like it.
