VOLQUARTSEN RUGER 10/22 TAKE DOWN SCREW – Stainless Steel. Hex-head screw replaces the factory slotted screw. It allows the shooter to use a torque wrench for precise and repeatable settings. No more marred slotted screws which diminish the appearance of your rifle. Made of stainless steel. We recommend a torque setting of 20 inch pounds with all Ruger® 10/22® action take down screws. However if you are really serious about your group sizes you may find your rifle groups better at another setting and we suggest shooting groups with torques settings starting at 30 inch pounds and reducing in 5 inch pond increments to establish what setting is best for YOUR rifle.
