Pedersoli AN IX Commemorative Flintlock Pistol 17.5mm. Davide Pedersoli had started a project to run for 10 years and scheduled each year a commemorative midel, in a limited series, dedicated to a particular event or to an important person in history.

For 2004, Davide Pedersoli wanted to remember the 18th May 1804 event when Napoleon was proclaimed Emperor of France with the name of Napoleon 1st. The crowning ceremony was performed in December of the same year in Notre Dame cathederal and was attended by Pope Pius 7th.

For France the year 1804 was also the year the seven Codes of Law including the Civil Code with unification, a very important reform, not only for France but influencing all nations plus giving a fiscal stabilixation as well as administritive efficiency.

Napoleon was not only a skilled military commander, but in that period he appears as a far seeing political leader of civil rights.

After 200 ytears, to celebrate these significant events of Napoleonic history, we now introduce a limited series cavalry pistol AN IX model and limited strictly to only 200 pistols specially offerd to French, German and Italian.

The pistol is offered in a handsome wooden case with glass lid through which the elegant AN IX pistol stands on a green lining. On the grip is inlet a medal with the Napoleonic “N” letter and a laurel wreath drawing is on the case window as a serigraph on the left top corner. Each model is supplied with an authentic parchment paper.
